A Stranger’s Chance

I witness a story to be told, a guy approaching a woman being very bold.

I notice him clumsy with a stare glance looking at a lady as I sat far away.

Neither of them parted their lips as they got closer to the register to pay.

The moonlight put a spotlight on their faces, as he greeted her with a “Hello” trying not to be so abrasive.

She hesitated as she stared so deeply into his eyes, his attractiveness caught off guard and by surprised.

As time seem to stand still right at that moment, another gentleman steps in behind the lady and the mood was broken.

There were no more words spoken as the lady turned away hand and hand with her boyfriend.

As for the guy his night ends not how he intends, he walks away alone strolling slowly to his home.
